Judy is originally from Hamburg, New York. Her interest in art
began early, with studies in drawing, fashion and commerical art
in high school. She has been winning awards since 1978. In 1982
Judy moved to Dallas/Fort Worth where she took classes and workshops
in mechanical perspective, oil, watercolor, pottery and stone
carving. She has been oil painting for twenty years and a professional
for five years. An Arizona resident since 1994, Judy now lives
in Cordes Lakes.
The theme of her paintings is "Nostalgia" taking us
back to an earlier time and place. Some of her paintings will
remind us of our grandmothers' homes. Her colors are warm and
soft, with no hard edges. When viewing her art you get a feeling
that you can actually touch the object she is portraying.
Judy's works are shown in many fine gallerys in the southwest
including the area of Sedona and Prescott in Arizona, Plano in
Texas and San Diego in California.
